WE ARE CHRIST'S FRAGRANCE...

The Bible says we are the aroma (fragrance) of Christ. Let's spread that fragrance around!

2 Corinthians 2:15, : For we are to God the aroma of Christ, among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.

Why I do what I do....

Hi...
People ask how and why I write what I write...
Well the reason is this....
The 1st 2 decades(nearly 20 years) of my life I walked without really knowing Jesus Christ personally, though I read about Him, sang about Him.
Until I had a personal encounter with Him in a small church in Salem(Tamil Nadu).
He redeemed me that day!
Now I am not ashamed to say I am saved by the Grace of my Lord Jesus Christ and He is my Lord and Savior.
Now I write encouragement, inspirations and devotionals.
I write not because I am a great writer or what I have to say is very powerful, inspiring, encouraging or profound, but because I can't help but write—only write about the ONE who changed my life.
His Name is Jesus Christ. And He sure is All Powerful and the most inspiring and encouraging Person I have ever known, and His thought are so... profound and life changing!
He captivates my heart and mind....
I am sure if you know Him you will understand what I say...
I will continue to share, sing, write, speak, live the uncompromising, Word of God. I may loose some friends and gain some.
I do fail, fall but my Savior lifts me up. Will not give up my faith for anything on earth.
Some may hate, some may disagree some may misunderstand but our Lord taught us to love all...
I love and respect all my family, brothers, sisters, friends and contacts God has given me through these years.
Each of you are valuable in God's eyes....
Praying for each of you who directly and indirectly, positively and negatively touched my life!
Yesterday has gone, tomorrow may never be mine....
This moment. is a 'PRESENT', God's gift to me...
And I thank and praise God for each of you!
Blessings....
Julia

All we have is this 'moment'

I may never see tomorrow, there's no written guarantee on that but God willing I may see the new day!
Yesteday has gone, the things that happened today are history and future is not in my hands but in God's.
 I cannot change the past.
All I have just is the present moment and I sure must treat it as my last.
I must use this moment wisely for it soon it will be gone and be lost forever.

Abba Father...
I need Your help to be all that you have calIed me to be.
Fill my heart with Your love and compassion O Lord...
Let me be kind O Lord and my words seasoned with salt.
The unkind things I do or say today may never be undone and harsh word I speak may never be forgotten.
Lord...I may not have another chance to read Your Word, pray, wite, serve, let me not fail to do that and let me live and walk in awe and fear of Your.
Thank You Lord for giving me this day.
In the Mighty Name of Jeus Christ,
Amen

Paul was a Tent Maker too!

Paul was a full time follower of Jesus Christ His Savior, he was a powerful minister of God's Word and travelled all over, preaching, teaching and discipling.
But he was a tentmaker(Acts 18:1-3) too! He lived off his labor and supported the weak.
Paul writes:
2 Thessalonians 3: 8 "nor did we eat anyone’s bread free of charge, but worked with labor and toil night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you, 9 not because we do not have authority, but to make ourselves an example of how you should follow us."

Acts 30: 33 I have coveted no one’s silver or gold or apparel. 34 Yes,you yourselves know that these hands have provided for my necessities, and for those who were with me. 35 I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.'
Let us value the work of our hands, our gifts and talents and follow our Savior and serve Him in all we do and say!
Even if I am a Home Maker I can serve my Lord all times and though the gifts and talents He gave and through writing, praying, encouraging etc.
Let our lives reflect Christ!

Abraham was Herdsman, Joseph was a respected Government Official  Daniel was a politician, David a Shepherd boy and King, Joshua was a War General, Nehemiah was a Cupbearer to a King, Esther being the queen was a  political leader for her people, and Luke was a Doctor.
And still gave their BEST to their Savior being His light in dark places!
The Market place needs Christ the most! Let us be His light wherever He has placed us.
The world is in darkness and God places His Children who are the 'light' and 'salt' in such places, to draw the lost to Him. So, do not shun away from such places!
Our Lord came to just 'seek and save the lost.'
God bless,
Julia

✿Has the wait been long?

Has the wait been long?
"The vision is for an appointed time, though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come."Habakkuk 2:3
God is a God of order; everything He does is by appointment.
There may be a delay but never a denial. But if you get impatient to wait for God's timing and His Word to come to pass and make the mistake of picking up someone or something that looks pleasing to your eyes, you will looses out on God's BEST for you and realize one day that 'all that glitters is not gold'.
It's ALWAYS better to wait for God's timing and be in the center of His Will!
"...Many plans are in a man's mind, but it is the Lord's purpose for him that will stand...."
( Proverbs 19: 21 )
When you cannot wait patiently to see His plans fulfilled, you choose to pick up what seems to look good in your eyes and you fail to get the BEST God has for you! It's better to wait and be in His plan and get the BEST than hurry up to get the 2nd BEST!
All that glitters is not Gold...our Lord surely knows better about Gold as in Heaven the streets are made of Gold!!
So wait for God's best,
~you will meet the right person,
~get the promotion
~get the right job,
~the right door will open,
~get your breakthrough you desire in His time and in His way!
He does not have small, little, insignificant things for His children who wait on Him.
He has THE BEST!!
I guess through delays God's teaching you to be patient! Patience was Job's middle name..
Was blessed to read this....
May His plans be fulfilled in your lives.
Be Blessed,

Julia

Bitter medicines.

As little children when our mom gave us different bitter home made decoction though we didn't like its taste we drank it just because our mom said it was good for our health. We trusted that mom could only have the best in mind for us.
Today I can only thank God she did that coz it has truly had a positive effect on our health!
But when God takes us through a difficult path we cry, complain, fuss so....much. We forget He does what He does only because He has something good in mind. As we steer through tough situations, He builds up our spiritual muscles and equips us to meet the challenges of life!
If our parents always have our good in mind, how much more will God care for us.
Better to be in the center of His will than away!
Praise you my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!
Be blessed!
