WE ARE CHRIST'S FRAGRANCE...

The Bible says we are the aroma (fragrance) of Christ. Let's spread that fragrance around!

2 Corinthians 2:15, : For we are to God the aroma of Christ, among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.

Arise and shine!

Have we slowed down, bent low because of the cares of this world?
God's sounding the clarion call, "Awake O sleeper! Arise."
Are we ready to be a part of God's end-time army?
Let's not allow the enemy mess with us any more.
Our one and only enemy goes around the world 'like' a roaring lion seeking his next victim to devour.
Our one and only enemy is on the prowl to steal, kill and destroy,
He has nothing good in mind...
This sure is not a news that brings us joy...!
But we still have every reason to rejoice!
Because....however bad the enemy makes our situation looks like, know that God is surely 100% perfect!!!
He will perfect and restore, bind and heal!
Let us arise and shine...

Bear each other's Burdens...

Hi..

Sometimes when we are surrounded by problems and walking thro' the storm, we fail to see the cares, the pains the trials and testings people around us are in.
Or may be everything is going well and right with us and for us that we fail to see that there are people around us struggling.
Here God asks us to bear each others burdens.
The least we can do for others is pray and speak few words of encouragement.
May we always do that....!..
In Christ,
Julia

All that matters finally is.....

It's said: "The Greatest desperation is just before deliverance and
the greatest attacks just before rescue..."

In midst of the darkest, most difficult times in our lives may God help us to be still, be strong and hold on in faith...
Someday our hard times will end and good times will come..!
Through life's ups and downs, let us not loose our trust in God and stop serving Him.
All that matters finally is this, to be a part of this group of uncompromising people, whose eyes are set on the King of Kings and their final destination heaven where their treasures are!
Have a blessed day...

Get them young!

russpic.jpg

Get them young!

  Hi...
Get them young!
Satan wrestles hard for an young heart, he wants to catch them young and Lord Jesus Christ knows that and wants to help the young generation beat the enemy's temptations and so says in..
Ecclesiastes 12:1
"Remember your Creator in the days of your youth,
before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say,
"I find no pleasure in them".
Our Lord's looking for people, a generation who'll be on fire!
He's looking out for people who will stand up boldly and speak up the truth of the gospel.
Carman writes in his book "Raising the Standard" writes, "..... we are blood-bought members of the most powerful army that ever walked the earth. We are filled with the same Spirit that raised Christ Jesus from the dead. We are to be champions."
JESUS IS LOOKING FOR A YOUNG DENERATION TO LIVE A HOLY, SANCTIFIED LIFE FOR HIM. A GENERATION THAT WILL SWIM AGAINST THE TIDE!
Even as the world around gets darker and darker, He's looking for a generation that will be His light..! God's looking for fearlessly bold, passionately holy, set- apart, radically uncompromising, upfront and bold people, to go be His witnesses.
II Timothy 2:22 "Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on Jesus from a pure heart."
I John 2:14 …"I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one."
Even when the enemy comes like a flood, our Lord has promised He will raise our standard against him.
Isaiah 59:19b "When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him"
If we have been double minded, lukewarm, confused, beating-round-the-bush and sitting-on-the-fence Christians, its time to get up and get going. It is time we give up our spiritual highs and lows and get going with a firm relationship with the Lord. The more time we spend with our Lord and start meditating on His Word, the better we will get to know Him and that will maks us effective witnesses.
Time to arise and shine.....!
In Christ,
Julia

Nobody is beyond God's reach....

No one is beyond God's reach!
Luke 19:10, "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost."
One may be a stray sheep, a lost coin or a prodigal son, but God still loves those who wandered away, are lost or back-slidden.
No matter how far one has strayed away, He kees searching, hoping, waiting.
He will reach down to the deepest, dirtiest pit to lift up the one who cries out for help.
He will cleanse, heal and restore with His precious Blood and cloth with the garment of Righteousness!
He never keeps record of sins forgiven but sure does say, "Go and sin no more!
That is our God!
Be blessed,
Julia
Ezekiel 34:12, "As a shepherd looks after his scattered flock when he is with them, so will I look after my sheep. I will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness."

God is more than enough...

Our Lord Jesus Christ proves to be the Bestest Friend we ever had, The Most Loving Father when we are in the most difficult place, and when many will walk away and pretend not to see, God will stay by us no matter what because He is a Promise Keeper!
When He said He will never leave or forsake us His children, He meant it!
He is more than enough!
Be blessed knowing Him and having Him by your side!

Looking ahead...

David Moore(1779-1852) said, "Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal."
As we begin our walk through this day, let us look to God's Word for comfort, and may the voice ofthe Holy Spirit be our source of encouragement.
God's Word says, "Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning."(Psalm 30:5)
Better things are coming down our way, just because we don't see it right now, let us not quit.
God's tomorrow for us is beautiful, His future for us is a better place, let us press on.
"There shall be no more death, nor sorrow nor crying"(Revelation21:4)
Have a blessed day,
Julia

Hold on....

It is easy to trust God when all is well, but when situations around press us down and forces us to call it quits is when we need to hold on to God as never before! He never fails!
We serve a Mighty God!
He will breakthrough your situation, just hold on.
Hope this encourages you...
Does your doctors report say the worst? Trust in Jehovah Rapha, whose Word gives you hope to believe for the best!
When the enemy screams "It is over", Jehovah Shalom says," Be at peace Greater things are yet to come."
When you stand at a place and think, "It is all over", El Shaddai says, "See I am Almighty, I am going to do something new..."
When you don't have anything and still have you lay food at the table, look up to Jehovah Jireh, He will provide!
He is Elhoim!
Be blessed!

Pray the news....

The daily news has a lot of concerns that need prayer.
A wonderful way to pray is to "Pray the News."
We all either watch the news on TV or get online to read the news or read our newspaper daily and we can pray through the news as we read or watch it.
Instead of listening to the incessant advertisments every five minutes we can use that time, to pray for the news we just heard.
Let us start praying the news!

God will meet our need.....

When we need something, who do we first go to?
It usually to people around us. It is true family and friends do help us.
But sometimes God places us in situations that our only dependence is God and if we cry out to Him, He will meet our need, because He has promised to do so.
Philippians 4:19, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
So let out 1st conversation be with God, He is the Best Listener, when we are in need. He sees our every tear and not a sigh goes unnoticed!
He will never reject us our turn His face away from us.
Have a blessed day,
Julia

When we compare....

When we compare our pitiful, stressful, painful, natural, temporary circumstances and scars to what our Lord JESUS CHRIST endured to go to the Cross and on the Cross and His scars, there’s nothing to compare!
He was crushed, wounded, shed His every drop of blood for us and never once complained!
Jesus Christ our Lord is the "Rose of Sharon" who was crushed for our sins!
It does not matter how deep our pain or hurt.. .
It does not matter who rejects, accuses or scoffs at us...
Let us keep our eyes fixed on the One who went through it all and so will understand it all....!
He is our Only Savior, Redeemer, Healer and He is the Glory and Lifter of our heads..
Time to take our ears off Satan's lies and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus Christ our Lord and His Word, and walk in His ways....!

Song of Songs 2:1 "I am a rose of Sharon, a lily of the valleys."
Isaiah 53:5 "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed."
Galatians 6:14 May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world
Be Blessed,
Julia

Hold on to your dreams...(if God gave it...He will bring it to pass)

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
God has good plans for each of us His children.
God does speak to His children in dreams and visions.
Let us hold on to His promises, the dreams He gave us.
Joseph was a dreamer...God spoke to him through dreams and his brothers scoffed at him, wrote him off, never believed his dreams will come true some day.

Genesis 37: 5 Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers, they hated him all the more. 6 He said to them, “Listen to this dream I had: 7 We were binding sheaves of grain out in the field when suddenly my sheaf rose and stood upright, while your sheaves gathered around mine and bowed down to it.”
8 His brothers said to him, “Do you intend to reign over us? Will you actually rule us?” And they hated him all the more because of his dream and what he had said.
9 Then he had another dream, and he told it to his brothers. “Listen,” he said, “I had another dream, and this time the sun and moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me.”
10 When he told his father as well as his brothers, his father rebuked him and said, “What is this dream you had? Will your mother and I and your brothers actually come and bow down to the ground before you?” 11 His brothers were jealous of him, but his father kept the matter in mind."
But Joseph held of to what God showed him, though things around him seemed to compel him to quit...
God gave Joseph a dream of becoming a great and mighty leader. Joseph never doubted.
The enemy tried hard to steal God's dreams, kill and destroy God's plan  but Joseph chose to hold on. Joseph was tried and tested.  Many years later, after being sold into slavery and falsely accused, thrown into prison, God fulfilled that dream and put him in command over all of Egypt.
Psalm 105:19-22 tells us that “They bruised his feet with fetters and placed his neck in an iron collar. Until the time came to fulfill his dreams, the Lord tested Joseph’s character but finally the King made him ruler of all he possessed."
If God has spoke to us we too need to hold on to God's Promises and not believe or receive any bad reports.
Let us like Caleb and Joshua, not be afraid of the giants we will face and possess our promised land and inherit all that God says is ours...!!
Hold on....press on...to what God in store for you...
Good night..
Julia

This is the month of "May"...so May you...be blessed....

This is the month of "MAY"!

"May" we find favor in His eyes.
"May" we see the impossible be made possible.
"May" we be candidates of uncommon testimonies.
"May" what we waited for a long time, be miraculously delivered to us in the name of Jesus.

"May" The Lord arise in any difficult situation that we may face and consume it with His Holy Ghost Fire, in the name of Jesus!
"May" each of us experience a miracle this month!
May you be blessed this month..
