WE ARE CHRIST'S FRAGRANCE...

The Bible says we are the aroma (fragrance) of Christ. Let's spread that fragrance around!

2 Corinthians 2:15, : For we are to God the aroma of Christ, among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.

Beware of Compromise!

Hi.
¸¸.•*¨*Many who were once in fire for the Lord Jesus, who never failed to fellowship with God and people of God, read and meditate on God's Word diligently, served Him with gladness are today lost in this world, backslidden or lukewarm in their faith.
¸¸.•*¨* In a desire to have the worldly riches, enjoy it's pleasures, get name, fame one often tends to compromise on the things of the Kingdom and Christ is no longer their 1st love or priority.
It's sad they chose to compromise and defiled themselves.
Psalm 119:1 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the LORD! 2 Blessed are those who keep His testimonies,
Who seek Him with the whole heart!
3 They also do no iniquity;
They walk in His ways.
4 You have commanded us
To keep Your precepts diligently.
5 Oh, that my ways were directed
To keep Your statutes!
6 Then I would not be ashamed,
When I look into all Your commandments.
7 I will praise You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments.
8 I will keep Your statutes;
Oh, do not forsake me utterly!
¸¸.•*¨* We need to hold lightly to the things of this World and tightly to the things of the Kingdom.
If we get friendly with the world, we slowly start to love it, enjoy it's company and then end up being condemned with it.
¸¸.•*¨* No more compromising.
We can't follow God and the world at the same time.
Compromise begins when we choose not to listen to God's

voice and make a decision against the life of faith. When we fail to heed God's warning, we tend to stray the wrong path.
¸
¸¸.•*¨* Compromise comes in inches.
Small attractions and distraction may slowly draw us away from God.
Compromise always ends in destruction.

¸¸.•*¨* God is not pleased with those lukewarm in their faith either.
Rev 3: 15 "I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth."
¸¸.•*¨* Lukewarm believers don't dare to take a stand for JESUS. They want to please their worldly friends, flirt a bit with the world, don't want to be identified as 'Kingdom people' when with the worldly crowd. These half hearted, lukewarm believers eventually become 'in name only Christian' who is finally ends up doing nothing for JESUS.
¸¸.•*¨* Life without Jesus can become meaningless. God has called us to be the light in the dark world.
Time to rise up and shine!!
Even as the world gets filthier and filthier, God expects us to be Holier and Holier.
It's not easy to walk towards holiness but it's not impossible for God will help us. The one who called us is faithful!

¸¸.•*¨* Let's not follow Christ half way. Let us let the Holy Spirit light up the passion within our hearts to serve God whole heartedly, with love; passion for our Savior; let's not be ashamed to stand up & be identified as children of the 'Kingdom of light. ‘We are here on earth to do our Heavenly Father's business. We are 'CHRIST'S AMBASSADOR'S' here on earth. Let's make our Heavenly Father proud. Let's lift His name on high. It's high time we let the world know, see, we belong to Him.
Matthew 5:16, "In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."
Be blessed..

Pray, pray, pray....

It's time to pray, pray and pray.

If we eat 365 daysX3 times a day and expect

breakthroughs and miracles we may not see it.

But if we like Daniel prayed at least 3 times a day

sincerely and fervently, we will not only see God

move powerfully, our spiritual lives too will be

stronger.

Let us pray...!
Lord help us to pray more...
Help us to pray at all times for all things...
May each of us be prayer warriors...
In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord
Amen

Let us pray...

HONOR

Hi....

God expects we love and honor Him and also wants us to honor every authority over us.
Here below (in Blue) are notes compiled from a friend's notes:
Quote>>God's word say's,

Romans 13:1"Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God."

Commentary:
•.¸¸. be subject. This Greek word was used of a soldier's absolute obedience to his superior officer.
[Scripture makes one exception to this command: when obedience to civil authority would require disobedience to God's Word (Ex. 1:17; Dan. 3:16-18; 6:7, 10; see notes on Acts 4:19, 20; 5:28, 29).] Daniel obeyed God and God shut the mouth of the lion, Daniel did not bad mouth the king.
•.¸¸. governing authorities. Every position of civil authority without regard to competency, morality, reasonableness, or any other caveat (1 Thess. 4:11, 12; 1 Tim. 2:1, 2; Titus 3:1, 2).

•.¸¸.  there is no authority except from God.
Since He alone is the sovereign ruler of the universe (Ps. 62:11; 103:19; 1 Tim. 6:15),
God has instituted 4 authorities on earth:
•.¸¸. 1) the government over all citizens;
We are to cooperate with those authority figures and obey the local and federal laws of the land (within the boundaries of God's laws). According to scripture, secular authority is intended to be a "minister of God for our good" (Rom. 13:1-4), and serves God's purpose of keeping law and order on the earth (1 Pet. 2:14-15). Again, Paul wrote, "Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every authority instituted among men: whether to the King, as the supreme authority, or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right" (1 Pet. 2:13-14 NIV).
•.¸¸. 2) church leadership over all believers;
When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord, this means that He

becomes our "boss" and highest authority over our whole life (Rom. 10:9, Luke 6:46, Matt. 28:18). Christians are to submit to the headship of Christ, implemented through (a) leadership of His
Spirit (Rom. 8:14), (b) the authority of His Word (2 Tim. 3:16), and (c) the authorities of the church (Matt. 18:17-20, 1 Cor. 5:4-5, Heb. 13:7,17).
•.¸¸.  3) the parents over all children;
Children are to obey their parents (Eph. 6:10). The wife is tocorperate with her husband, which is the head of the family (Eph. 5:22-24, 1 Tim. 2:12), and the husband is to submit himself to Christ and love his wife (Eph. 5:23,25). God has established these as the "delegated" extensions of His authority. If we resist cooperation, we are in effect, resisting God's own authority and Lordship. This is why Paul even told wives to submit to the authority of their husbands "as unto the Lord" (Eph. 5:22).
•.¸¸.4) the masters over all employees.

May we submit to our employers as unto the Lord.
~~appointed. Human government's authority derives from and is defined by God. He instituted human government to reward good and to restrain sin in an evil, fallen world.
<<Unquote

Romans 13:2 "Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves."

If anyone in Authority is not walking in alignment with the Word of God, is corrupt it's not for us to judge, God surely will. But let's always stand for righteousness. It's God who promotes one and brings down another!

Job 34:24"Without inquiry he shatters the mighty and sets up others in their place.

We need to pray for all men and for those in authority whether good or bad. Help us to pray and not complain!
1 Timothy 2 (Pray for All Men)1 "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence."
But what if we don't like our Prime minister, President, leader, police official?
We are still to pray for them. Because every Civil authority is clearly delegated by and answerable to God.
Jesus taught that we are to:
“Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s” (Matthew 22:21).

Are all these human authorities perfect?

Far from it!

There are rulers like Pharaoh of Egypt, Nebuchadnezzar who were against God's people but used by God to bring glory to His name. In every kind of authority there are those who walk in disobedience. But can we shake our fists against them?
That's God's job let him do that.
Deut 32:35 ‘Vengeance is Mine, and retribution, in due time their foot will slip; For the day of their calamity is near, And the impending things are hastening upon them.’

Psalm 73:18-20 “Surely You set them in slippery places; You cast them down to destruction. 19 How they are destroyed in a moment! They are utterly swept away by sudden terrors! 20 Like a dream when one awakes, O Lord, when aroused, You will despise their form.”
And we know that the only time we can stand up and disobey is when we ought to obey God rather than men.
If the government passes a law that commands us to disobey God or decrees that we must not serve God, then and only then do we have the mandate to disobey! This is what Daniel's 3 friend's did!

Let's choose to obey God. and we God children are to humble ourselves and pray...

2 Chronicles 7:14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Be blessed..

1 Peter 2:13-25
New King James Version (NKJV)
Submission to Government
13 Therefore submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake, whether to the king as supreme, 14 or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good. 15 For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men— 16 as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God. 17 Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.
Submission to Masters

18 Servants, be submissive to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the harsh. 19 For this is commendable, if because of conscience toward God one endures grief, suffering wrongfully. 20 For what credit is it if, when you are beaten for your faults, you take it patiently? But when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is commendable before God. 21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us,[a] leaving us[b] an example, that you should follow His steps:
22 “ Who committed no sin,
Nor was deceit found in His mouth”;[c]

He will calm the storm...

Calms the storm.jpg

Hi...
*¨* When God promises something..He will do it! But sometimes our miracles are delayed.
Jesus promised His disciples they will go the other side and in spite of the storm and delay they did reach the other side!
*¨*But Jesus allowed them to strain and row through the storm that was against them. (48 Then He saw them straining at rowing, for the wind was against them.)
*¨* REMEMBER WHATEVER MAY COME AGAINST US, IF WE PRESS ON WE WILL PASS OUT VICTORIOUS!
Jesus saw His disciples struggle in the storm(Mark 6:45-52) and didn't rush to them but waited for the right moment.
*¨* Why does God sometimes wait for the 11th hour, till all our money runs out, all doors are closed and pain lingers? Does He not care? O surely He does, when the disciples were in midst of the storm, He was praying and He does the same today! We need to just press on and keep moving. God will show up!
Mark 6: 45 Immediately He made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, to Bethsaida, while He sent the multitude away. 46 And when He had sent them away, He departed to the mountain to pray. 47 Now when evening came, the boat was in the middle of the sea; and He was alone on the land. 48 Then He saw them straining at rowing, for the wind was against them. Now about the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea, and would have passed them by. 49 And when they saw Him walking on the sea, they supposed it was a ghost, and cried out; 50 for they all saw Him and were troubled. But immediately He talked with them and said to them, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.” 51 Then He went up into the boat to them, and the wind ceased. And they were greatly amazed in themselves beyond measure, and marveled. 52 For they had not understood about the loaves, because their heart was hardened.
*¨* Delays are not denial, life is not free of storms either but we have the blessed hope that our Lord's in control and He will show up and bring peace..:)
*¨* Many times in our lives we find ourselves rowing in midst of a storm. We may have to pay bills and may have no money, we may be in pain and find no relief. But our attitude in midst of the storm matters.
*¨* Let's not delay our miracle by murmuring, complaining, harboring bitterness, unforgiveness, impure thoughts, grudge but let us keep the lamp of hope burning in midst of life's storms.
Our help will come from our God Himself, the maker of heaven and earth.
Psalm 121: 1 I will lift up my eyes to the hills—
From whence comes my help?
2 My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.

God Bless,
