WE ARE CHRIST'S FRAGRANCE...

The Bible says we are the aroma (fragrance) of Christ. Let's spread that fragrance around!

2 Corinthians 2:15, : For we are to God the aroma of Christ, among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.

Travailing in prayer....

Hi...

It's said...
~~A person who prays is the mightiest instrument God has on earth~
Prayers that move the Hand of God in a powerful way are not limited to a select few but to all of God's children who will learn to pray with the same kind of fervency & perseverance as Elijah.
I wrote this long back when I did a study on spiritual warfare & also on the life of Elijah, from the Book of
1 Kings & 2 Kings. One thing I've learnt is that persevering prayer is the key to open great doors, the doors to answered prayers
When we face desperate situations, there seems to be no way out, no hope & we need a miracle so...badly, what do we do???
PRAY!!!

Usually in times like this we want to call it quits.
We also wish that Elijah was still around to pray that prayer of faith.
But you know that "Elijah was a man with a nature like ours."
JAMES 5:17, Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years.
He was a man like us who faced struggles, prone to fear & lost hope, but he kept going on because of prayer!!!!

We can see dramatic answers to our prayer, we can see loved ones saved, the sick healed & see God's Kingdom on earth extended!
We can see mountains moved, strongholds of enemy come tumbling down...JAMES 5:16b, "The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."
The Bible speaks about "travailing in prayer." and in fact Elijah's prayer for rain ( just study the life of Elijah & Elisha again, you will be blessed), was like a woman giving birth.. As birth takes a lot of effort & energy so does "travailing prayer", to release the Holy Spirit's power to birth the rain that was so...badly needed after a 3 and a 1/2 years of drought.
We too need to 'travail' in prayer till we see things happen.

We need to 'travail' in prayer till we see the move of God.
It's time to get on our knees & pray.
The Kingdom needs prayer warriors.

Be blessed,

Julia
