LET'S TREASURE THE WORD OF GOD IN OUR HEART AND KEEP IT BE IN OUR MOUTH AND LET US CLAIM AND PROCLAIM IT OVER US, OUR FAMILY, OUR HOMES AND ALL THE SITUATION WE FACE.

 THERE IS "POWER" in THE WORD OF GOD!!!!!

IT CAN SEND SHOCK WAVES THROUGH THE ENEMY'S CAMP...

119: 89 Your word, O LORD, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.

Even if we walk astray, the Word of God helps us get back on course.

Travailing in Prayer

Hi family and friends..

It's time to get on the Threshing floor, a place of total surrender to God in prayer and intercession.

Satan hates it when we fast and trembles when we pray because a sincere prayer will cancel his plan and establish God's plan in our lives.

 But our Abba Father loves it and honors it.

It's time to get alone with God. It doesn't matter what people say or think about us now is the time to sit at God's feet and hear what He's got to tell us.

It's time to get behind closed doors.

Matthew 6:6, "But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father who is unseen."

Closing the door to the world opens the door for the Heavenly Father's presence to come in.

It's said...
~A person who prays is the mightiest instrument God has on earth~Prayers that move the Hand of God in a powerful way are not limited to a select few but to all of God's children who will learn to pray with the same kind of fervency and perseverance as Elijah.
When reading the Book of 1 Kings and 2 Kings and studying the life of Elijah, one thing I've learnt is that persevering prayer is the key to open great doors, the doors to answered prayers
When we face desperate situations, there seems to be no way out, no hope and we need a miracle so...badly, what do we do?

 PRAY!
Usually in times like this we want to call it quits.
We also wish that Elijah was still around to pray that prayer of faith.
But you know what "Elijah was a man with a nature like ours."JAMES 5:17, Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years.He was a man like us who faced struggles, prone to fear and loose hope, but he kept going on because of prayer!


We can see dramatic answers to our prayer, we can see loved ones saved, the sick healed and see God's Kingdom on earth extended!!JAMES 5:16b, "The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."
The Bible speaks about "travailing in prayer." and in fact Elijah's posture as HE prayed for rain ( just study the life of Elijah and Elisha again, you will be blessed), was of a woman giving birth.. As birth takes a lot of effort and energy so does "travailing prayer", to release the Holy Spirit's power to birth the rain that was so...badly needed after a 3 and a 1/2 years of drought.

We too need to 'travail' in prayer till we see things happen.
We need to 'travail' in prayer till we see the move of God.
It's time to get on our knees and pray.
The Kingdom needs prayer warriors.

ALL MEN WILL KNOW...

Hi...

This is the day that the Lord has made,

Let's rejoice and be glad in it.

I was blessed to read this Scripture this morning.

John:13 : 34 A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

Jesus says, Christ like love will show us we are His disciples.

Such love can bring unbelievers to Christ and keep believers strong and united in a world that is hostile to God and things concerning God.

Jesus was and always is a living example of God's love and we are to be imitators of Christ.

Ephesians 5:1 Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children

2 and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

His love for us lead Him to the The Cross for our sakes.

Our love for others should be a love that goes beyond affection, to see them as Christ does and love them and bless them with self sacrificing service.

1 Peter 4: 8 "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins."

As we wait expectantly for Christ's coming, let's grow in our love for God and for others.

It's easy to recognize Christ's love.

Chris's love in us helps us to love even those who hate us and keep  praying for even those who mistreat us.

Our talents, our gifts, our status, our possessions, our riches, our education mean nothing if we do not have Christ's Love in us.

We'll be spending our eternity with God, angels and people, so let's do all we can with our talents to lead people to the Kingdom. It's when Christ's love rules & reigns in our hearts, people will see Christ in us.

Let all know we are His disciples.

REAL LOVE IS ACTION NOT FEELING.

1 John 3: 18 "Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth."

The love the world offers is so often deceptive.

Let Christ selfless love fill our heart so that we can continue to love, give & serve expecting nothing back.
